Colt Foutz is the recipient of Follett and Getz fellowships in the MFA/MA fiction writing/teaching writing program at Columbia College Chicago. He worked as a newspaper reporter and columnist for six years, earning numerous national and state awards for his writing. Geoffrey Forsyth is a graduate of The University of Iowa, The University of Vermont, and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His fiction has appeared in Other Voices, New Orleans Review, CutBank,RHINO, and several other literary magazines. His story "Mud" appeared in the 2007 Norton Anthology: New Sudden Fiction. His story "Coins" received and Illinois Arts Council Literary Award in 2008. He lives with his wife and two children in La Grange Park, Illinois.

JILL SUMMERS time....and the livin' is easy....

JILL SUMMERS

Jill's audio fiction has been featured internationally by Chicago Public Radio, the Third Coast International Audio Festival, and New Adventures in Sound Art. Her work has appeared in Stop Smiling Magazine, Ninth Letter, Annalemma, This 'Zine Will Change Your Life, and The 2nd Hand and is forthcoming in littleBANG, RAGAD, and Please-Don't. She is the author of two collections of audio shorts, Cohabitation and Les Petites Tristes: Tiny Tales of Woe.

Jill has received the Weisman Grant and an IL Arts Council Literary Award; is a two time Caxton Club Fellow; and was recently awarded a CAAP grant to produce a new collection of audio shorts. Her first play, In the Curious Hold of the Demeter: Count Orlock at Sea, was awarded a Henson Grant to be produced by The Incurable Theater this Fall at the Chicago Cultural Center. ELIZABETH CRANE


Elizabeth Crane is the author of three collections of short stories, When the Messenger is Hot, All this Heavenly Glory, and You Must Be This Happy to Enter. Her work has also been featured in publications including Other Voices, fivechapters, Ecotone, Nerve, Washington Square, New York Stories, Sycamore Review, Mississippi Review, Florida Review, Eclipse, Bridge, Sonora Review, the Chicago Reader, the Believer, McSweeney’s Future Dictionary of America, and several anthologies including The Best Underground Fiction, Loser, and Who Can Save Us Now? Her stories have been featured on NPR’s Selected Shorts, and she is a recipient of the Chicago Public Library 21st Century Award. Her work has been adapted for the stage by Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theater company, and also been adapted for film. She teaches at the School of the Art Institute and the University of Chicago. This fall she will be writer-in-residence at the University of Texas at Austin.
