Amira Hanafi lives in Chicago. She has exhibited work in Chicago galleries, published visual poetry in Diagram and Sleepingfish, organized multi-vocal readings of her texts, performed with the Clairaudient sound collective, and dispersed handmade books and multiples including Palm Reading, Mesostis, and Trinities.
