A shark surfaced 3 feet from Jac Jemc’s kayak on May 6th. She has lived to tell that tale and others, which you can find in Sleepingfish, 5_trope, elimae, the Denver Quarterly, Zoland, No Posit, Circumference and Tarpaulin Sky. She received a sunburn along with her MFA on May 17th from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
